RAMO Lab Showcases AI-Native 6G Innovations at IEEE Globecom 2025

Members of the RAMO Lab participated in IEEE Globecom 2025, demonstrating the lab's leadership in the converging fields of AI and 6G telecommunications. The team engaged in high-level academic exchange and showcased several end-to-end system prototypes.

Key Highlights:

  • Live Technology Demonstrations: The team presented a Real-time 6G/AI-RAN System at the exhibition booth. This included a 5G vRAN Testbed built on OpenAirInterface and integrated with a full-scale 5G Core.

  • High-Performance Infrastructure: The showcased platform featured a GPU-accelerated PHY layer using the NVIDIA Aerial SDK, emphasizing high-speed fronthaul data transmission via DPDK and GPS-based precision time synchronization.

  • 6GARROW Project: As a key representative of the 6GARROW project, the lab highlighted international collaboration aimed at pioneering AI-Native integrated RAN-Core networks.

  • Industrial & Academic Networking: Members visited LITE-ON to discuss the future of AI-driven infrastructure and engaged with global experts at the Globecom Workshop to explore emerging 6G trends.

  • Physical AI Integration: The demonstration also featured Context-Aware Robot Control using hybrid LLM & SLM inference, showcasing the practical application of AI-on-RAN in robotics.

The successful exhibition at Globecom 2025 reinforces RAMO Lab's commitment to developing essential infrastructures for the future AI industry.
