RAMO Lab is proud to announce that our extended paper, "Communication-Efficient Hybrid Language Model via Uncertainty-Aware Opportunistic and Compressed Transmission," has been officially accepted for publication in IEEE Transactions on Communications.
Key Highlights:
About the Research: This work introduces an advanced framework for Hybrid Language Models that utilizes uncertainty-aware opportunistic and compressed transmission to drastically optimize communication efficiency. The framework is designed to serve as a foundational asset, and the team hopes it will be widely cited by the global AI-RAN community. For reference, the earlier version of this paper is accessible on arXiv:2505.11788.
Real-World Testbed Deployment: Moving from theory to practice, RAMO Lab is currently leveraging these newly developed Hybrid Language Models to build state-of-the-art AI-for-RAN and AI-on-RAN testbeds directly on the Yonsei University campus.
Global Teamwork & Collaboration: This milestone was achieved through exceptional international teamwork and close collaboration across multiple premier institutions, including Yonsei University, Inha University, The University of Adelaide, and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
