Yonsei University signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for AI-RAN joint research at the APEC Summit Korea 2025. This global alliance includes NVIDIA (CEO Jensen Huang) and six major Korean institutions: Samsung Electronics, SK Telecom, KT, LG Uplus, and ETRI.
Strategic Goal: Lead the innovation of AI-based wireless networks for the 6G era.
Key Focus: Developing low-power AI-RAN architectures based on GPU offloading and autonomous network intelligence.
Research Hub: Yonsei will establish a campus-wide AI-RAN joint research center as a global hub for education and research.
