Yoonseo Jo and Dr. Seungeun Oh from the RAMO Lab (Robotic and Mobile Networks Laboratory) at Yonsei University participated in the Brooklyn 6G Summit 2025, one of the world's premier venues for defining the future of 6G wireless technology.

During the summit’s poster session, Yoonseo Jo presented the team’s latest research titled “To showcase 6G AI-on-RAN: Hybrid Inference for Wireless Robots.” The presentation introduced a cutting-edge AI-on-RAN framework designed for low-latency wireless robot operations.

Key Technical Highlights:

  • Hybrid Inference Splitting: The framework optimizes performance by intelligently splitting inference tasks between on-device and server-side models.

  • Selective Transmission: To ensure efficiency, uplink data is transmitted only when the system detects high uncertainty or unexpected action deviations.

  • Global Academic Exchange: The work sparked meaningful discussions with global experts on 6G-enabled joint optimization of communication and computation, furthering the vision for future AI-native networks.

The Brooklyn 6G Summit provided a valuable opportunity for RAMO Lab to share insights with leaders in the field and reinforce Yonsei University’s role in the global 6G research ecosystem.
