[RAMO Seminar] See No Evil, Hear No Evil: Data-aided Sensing in the IoT

A blind man and a deaf man will work together to survive. In the Internet-of-Thing (IoT), sensing (a blind man) needs to work with communication (a deaf man) to avoid drowning in a data-rich ocean. In this talk, we present the notion of data-aided sensing (DAS) to combine sensing and communication together for IoT applications. In addition, we discuss a few approaches to DAS under various setups including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that help collect data.
